Arne Weinberg - Alpha & Omega

Following on from 2006’s debut LP “Path of the Gods”, Arne Weinberg’s second album will take you on a musical passage from Alpha to Omega and demonstrate the diversion of Arne’s palette of sounds. Too many modern Techno Albums feature just a collection of tracks with no real story to tell, Arne’s second album aims to be more than just that and pushes further the boundaries of modern techno music.

From the dark and mystic feel of “Everlasting” to the floor shaking grooves of “Nightstalker” and “Eclectic Spiral” or the deep electro influenced ambience of “Synthetic Dissection” and “With trembling hands” this album has it all.

The CD version includes a bonus CD with unreleased ambient material and is limited to 200 copies only.

Mysterious artists are always a good topic for discussions. Deixis is such a mysterious person, prefering to stay unknown. But it is his music that speaks to you and the message is clear and direct. Already introduced to the label rooster with his track for AW-010, the Viewpoints compilation, we are happy to have him on board with his first full 12” release. Running his own label Abstract Forms he stands for deepest dub infected Detroit Techno. Some might say this is oldschool, and maybe they are right, but we don’t care.... it’s beautiful deep melodic techno as we love it Featuring a remix of the track “The hour of the soul” by label owner Arne Weinberg.

Paul Mac doesn’t really need an introduction to the techno scene, as he is one of the most constant releasing producers around with a wide range of stylistic variety. The three tracks featured on this EP are an excellent example of his deeper side of production works. Having released such great projects like the album “Old school former pupil” for example, it is no surprise that these three new tracks made their way onto AW-Recordings. Beautiful crafted synth stabs and chords combined with pumping beats and basslines with a perfect feel for groove and melodies will please the dancefloor for sure.
